Managers Update
Without a win in six games now after our 3-1 home defeat to Royal Oak FC we are suffering from a major confidence problem.
In many of the games I do think we have done all the hard work, Fleece away is a prime example giving away a steady 2-0 lead in the last ten mins when we was comfortably the better team for 80 mins of the game only to come away with a point was criminal.
I would like to thank many of you who have not been playing in your ideal positions during recent games, its not great for me or Courty to have to play important players out the postion of where we think they are most useful on the pitch but as you know many weeks we have to do what we can.
I would like to welcome many new faces to our squad goalkeepers Nick Spencer and Mathew Bray have both been excellent in the sticks when called upon and I feel you have a healthy battle ahead to hold down the number 1 shirt as you both become more confident in a Trades shirt. Wayne Reid made his debut today an experienced centre half is surley going to push Jimmy Hunt and Tom Whitehead for a starting spot when to now all they have had to do is turn up to ensure a game. The signings of exciting young players Jay "Speedy" Wright and Andrew Dennis gives our attacking options even more quality along with the welcome return of Craig "Torres" Walker.
Its now upto me and Courty to keep working on what we believe in and working hard to make ourselves available to all the players during this difficult time but it is upto you lot to trust your ability and turn decent performances into 3 points week in week out.
The next two games are both at home against Henley Forest once in the league and once in the quater finals of the league cup no excuses lads we know these are both must win games.
