Club Statement
It with great regret that Liam has stepped down and left the club, Liam was my first appointment as manager and someone who I always wanted to be my assit if ever I had the chance to manage a sunday league club. On the football side of things Liam has always helped me more then you will ever know he has always been down the pitch trying his best to make it playable for you guys along with many other things for you.
Liam has left due to a incident with another player which me or Liam do not think is exceptable at the club and we both agree the best thing for the club is if Liam leaves.
The only thing I am disappointed about is nothing to do with the player involved I am glad you came to me and we could resolve the matter this way but the other players who are not involved messaging Liam and getting involved when it was nothing to do with them, Liams sorry for what has happened knows he was out of order his told me that he had and still has the most respect for the player involved as a friend, I hope the other players that were getting involved change very soon because I dont want to lose some of my friends who dont treat people who are doing stuff to help them play football with respect.
Liam leaving is the best thing for the club and I hope this is the end of the matter.
Also I have been put on shifts at work which means I can only make one week every two weeks of training. I am thinking to cancel winter training after this week just for a few weeks until it gets light enough to train on a friday on the grass so we can get the whole squad together every week and use it to have some proper football training. Your advice on this will help
